Objective To assess the value of ictal video-electroencephalography monitoring (IVEEG) in presurgical evaluation for medically intractable nonlesional temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE).
Cases of porencephaly and global atrophyof the temporal lobe were highly related to prenatal or perinatal insults including preterm delivery and asphyxia.
Results MRI appearances of painful ophthalmoplegia syndrome included patch or small nodule abnormal signal at the region of fissura orbitalis superior. The ipsilateral cavernous sinus was enlarged.
